Now that we're releasing new features more quickly, we're going to try something we've never done before: share our roadmap with you.

Over the past month, dozens of you have shared detailed feedback through emails, phone calls, surveys, and in-person conversations. A huge thank you for the time and energy you've contributed to make Chorus Connection better. Your input has directly shaped what we're building next, and we want you to see your feedback in action.

Spring priorities

A Chorus Connection mobile app
This is our most requested feature, and we're finally building it. The first release - which we're affectionately nicknaming "Prelude Edition" - will primarily focus on getting music into the hands (and ears) of your singers. They'll be able to listen to rehearsal tracks, even with the screen locked. We'll also be building a new playlist feature so folks can work through your entire set list while driving, doing dishes, or walking the dog. Prelude Edition will have limited features, but we'll be adding much more later this year.

You've asked for more customization, and it's coming.

Attendance improvements
Built-in tracking of expected and excused absences.

Later this year

We're leaving room for us to respond to your feedback as we go, but there are 2 additional areas we know we want to tackle in 2026. These will be part of the expanded functionality of the mobile app:

Communications
We'll build new ways to reach your singers beyond just email. Think push notifications and in-app messaging. Think Slack/Discord/Whatsapp-style functionality. We want to help you communicate urgent messages more easily. And we want your singers to have more choice about where and how they receive day-to-day communications from leadership.

Scanned Attendance
Singers get QR codes. Admins scan them in as they walk into rehearsal.

If your org currently tracks any attendance-related info outside of Chorus Connection (e.g. expected absences, third-party tools, automation, etc), could you please fill out this quick survey? Help us help you eliminate extra spreadsheets.
